The Diana-Skordas XBN wood-burning boiler is designed to operate for burning solid fuels, such as wood, coal, briquettes, lignite, etc.
Their operation is based on the forced flow of exhaust gases with the use of an electronically regulated exhaust gas fan which forces the exhaust gases to follow the specific path of the exchanger releasing the heat generated to the water as much as possible.

The wood boiler DIANA – SKORDAS XBN is a welded steel wood-fired boiler for burning solid fuels which is manufactured on the principle of horizontal four-pass combustion gas circulation.

It is designed for hot water heating systems and should not be used for direct water supply for domestic use.

The DIANA – SKORDAS XBN wood boiler can hold a large amount of fuel thanks to the large volume of the combustion chamber.

The DIANA – SKORDAS XBN wood boiler, due to the high volume and well-shaped size of the combustion gas passages and the high efficiency heating surface, burns your fuel with a very high water efficiency, saving fuel costs.

As the bottom grate of the wood boiler is water-cooled, it can maintain adequate water outlet temperatures until all the fuel in the combustion chamber is consumed.

The wood boiler is manufactured with reliable materials of great thickness as required by the relevant European standards, resulting in a long service life.

The DIANA – SKORDAS XBN wood boiler can be used in both forced flow and natural water flow systems thanks to the large water passages inside the boiler and the medium size supply and return connections.

As the calorific value of the various types of solid fuels differs from each other, the power of the wood boiler can vary within a maximum and minimum range which is determined.

Electronically adjustable flue gas fan to adjust the combustion intensity according to the desired temperature.

At the same time, it forces the exhaust gases to follow the specific path of the exchanger, releasing the maximum heat produced in the water.

It also contributes to the proper operation of the boiler by causing the appropriate draft depending on the setting, preventing the clogging of the flame passages or the chimney, a problem that occurs in common steel boilers.
