Another point of excellence of the steel boilers is the five-pass technology used in the boilers of the DSLT series, which is an innovation of Diana – Skordas.

Low temperature technology is a proven efficient method of saving energy in boilers that use natural gas / LPG or oil as fuel since it fully exploits the useful energy from combustion.

As with low-temperature boilers, you follow the principle that the boiler produces hot water of such a temperature as to cover the current heating demand in order to achieve the maximum possible energy savings.

While in low-temperature boilers the condensation of the flue gases and thus the wetting of the heating surfaces must be avoided, the condensation technology works by the opposite rules: Here the condensation of the flue gases is really highly desirable and required to convert the latent (hidden) energy contained in the water vapour, together with the actual heat given off by the exhaust gases, into useful heat.

Also, with the low-temperature technology, the heat you lose in the chimney is significantly reduced, since the temperature of the exhaust gases released into the atmosphere is now very low.

It ensures the rise in temperature, hot water ensuring increased resistance to corrosion by acids while providing a Diana – Skordas innovation while providing the greatest possible economy and operational safety.

The steel individual boilers of the DSLT series are manufactured:

• With steel sheet St 37-2 according to DIN 17100.
• With flame tubes made of autogenous welding pipes of the Manessman type according to DIN 1629 without a seam.
• With exhaust gas retarders, made of stainless steel, for maximum performance and minimization of pollutant emissions.
• With fireproof door thermal insulation.
